The pathogens causing lung infections cannot be reliably determined by swabbing the nose and /or throat.
Apologies for re-emphasising this important point.
The notion that a single pathogen is responsible for - or can be reliably identified as - the cause of a particular person’s influenza-like illness is a complete fallacy.
The entire covid pandemic narrative rests on 2 notions which had been shown to be false well before 2020:
1. That analyses of material obtained by swabbing the nose and throat has any relevance for what was going on in the lungs (even if the tests were of acceptable quality, sensitivity and specificity - which the covid PCR tests were not).
2. that single pathogens are responsible for influenza-like illnesses and identifiable as such.
There are actually hundreds of viruses which are thought to be associated with ILIs which cause the same symptomatology, and almost certainly many more unknown ones, and finding multiple pathogens (if looked for) in a single individual is common.
See in particular the two 2015 EPIC studies sponsored by the CDC linked here:

It’s worth clicking through to the full versions - don’t just read the abstract. And remember while reading these that the authors are not humble people who may be enthusiastic about objectively questioning the validity and usefulness of their pet science (which has no doubt rewarded them hugely in terms of grants, prestige and income).
But even with that in mind they are still basically forced to conclude that the whole idea of reliable single pathogen detection and attribution for respiratory infections is problematic.
The pandemicists have presented no evidence as to how and why the arrival of a new respiratory virus they called SARS-CoV-2 should have upended these principles.
"These data suggest that improving the coverage and effectiveness of recommended influenza and pneumococcal vaccines and developing effective vaccines and treatments for HMPV, RSV, and parainfluenza virus infection could reduce the burden of pneumonia among adults. Further development of new rapid diagnostic tests that can accurately identify and distinguish among potential pneumonia pathogens is needed". - They really are enthusiastic about gearing up for more vaccines and rapid diagnostic testing in the adult population which may end up being inflicted onto children. I am sure there will be many more "new" viruses for them to discover resulting in many more useless vaccines for us.
"There are actually hundreds of viruses ..." - expect none were isolated using the scientific method.
